Description
This course is an introduction to Adobe Photoshop®. It is oriented to students who have not been exposed to the formal study of this software program. Students will learn the basic Adobe Photoshop® work area and tools, including such concepts as selecting, layers, filters, painting, retouching, and creating special effects. Students will work on various projects and digital images.

- Use the basic interface elements of Photoshop such as tools, palettes, menus, and option bars.
- Use, make, and manipulate selections, layers, layer adjustments, gradients, paths, and channels.
- Use text tools, retouch tools, and basic special effects.
- Open, save, and export files in appropriate formats.
