Description
This course provides a final supervised work experience in an early childhood education and care setting. It is designed to support students in integrating content knowledge with practice.
Prerequisites
"C" or higher in ECED 191.

- Use appropriate, respectful, guidance practices with children.
- Participate actively in planning and decision-making concerning the education, physical, fiscal and human resources in classrooms and programs for children.
- Reflect on practice professionally and base decisions and actions on ethical and other professional standards.
- Communicate and build relationships respectfully, effectively and appropriately with children and adults.
- Assess children's progress using formal and informal observation and assessment tools and methods.
- Create curriculum and learning environments for individual and groups of children based on knowledge of child development and individuals.
