The Office of Continuing Education and Training (OCET) is committed to providing effective customized training that responds to the professional and personal development needs of our community’s lifelong learners.
Non-credit course offerings are available through the OCET to meet the needs of business, visitor industries, and our community. We have courses and programs in the areas of business, computers, environmental health and safety, soft skill development, vocational upgrading, retraining for dislocated workers, and professional development and personal enhancement. Flexible, timely responsiveness to needs beyond the traditional college curriculum and a wide variety of distance learning courses are the hallmark of Kaua‘i Community College’s non-credit program.
OCET is a multi-faceted “self-support” program consisting of:

- Kids College

- Apprenticeship Trades Training
- International Education (https://www.kauai.hawaii.edu/international-programs)
The division includes a director, training coordinators, an office manager, administrative assistants, and a variety of program assistant managers and adjunct faculty members. International Education and the Performing Arts Center (PAC) is also part of OCET and have their own managers.
