Description
This course teaches the fundamentals of painting to beginning painting students. Students will explore the technical and expressive possibilities of the paint media. The class will focus on the formal, conceptual, and technical problems in painting. Emphasis will be given to color mixing systems and successfully manipulating paint as a medium for self-expression.
