Description
This course is a continuation of SPAN 101 and covers conversation, listening, grammar, reading, and writing.
Prerequisites
“C” or higher in SPAN 101.
Course Student Learning Outcomes (CSLOs)
- Write a short paragraph in Spanish on a familiar topic, using correct spelling.
- Identify culturally appropriate behavior in routine social situations.
- Present information orally in Spanish combining complete sentences and pronouncing the language well enough to be intelligible to a speaker of native fluency accustomed to dealing with non-native speakers .
- Demonstrate comprehension by answering questions on the main idea upon listening to a simplified passage in Spanish.
- Demonstrate comprehension by answering questions in Spanish based on reading the information given in a simple paragraph in Spanish.
