Description
Students will explore traditional Hawaiian land management and food production systems through hands-on fieldwork, applying traditional knowledge to modern environmental challenges, developing leadership skills, and connecting with the land.

- Apply traditional knowledge to solve real world concerns in the area of Mālama ʻĀina.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the traditions and applications of one or more Hawaiian food production systems.
- Describe the significance of traditional practices and how they are implemented in today’s world.
- Demonstrate relevant leadership skills, planning strategies, and connection to place within the field of Mālama ʻĀina.
