MICR 130: General Microbiology
Description
This course is an introduction in microbiology with emphasis on the bacteria. The course includes topics in microbial morphology, metabolism, genetics, immunology, and selected topics in applied microbiology and virology. Special topics in microbial and parasitic diseases of man, animal, and plants will be used to illustrate the diversity and complexity of these microorganisms.
Prerequisites
Qualified for ENG 100. Qualified for MATH 82X.
